How is the fee calculated?
ScaleDux charges a flat 10% service fee on all freelancer earnings. This fee is automatically deducted from each payment before it reaches your account.
Example:If your project price is ₹10,000, the service fee is ₹1,000 (10%), and you receive ₹9,000.
What does the fee cover?
- Payment protection — Escrow-based payments ensure you get paid for approved work.
- Dispute resolution — Our team mediates if there are disagreements between client and freelancer.
- Platform infrastructure — Secure messaging, file sharing, contract management, and milestone tracking.
- Identity verification — KYC checks to ensure trust and safety for all users.
When is the fee deducted?
The fee is deducted at the time of each milestone payment release. You always see the exact breakdown before submitting a proposal, so there are no surprises.
Fees for clients
Clients are not charged a service fee on top of the project amount. The amount they pay is the full project price. The service fee is only deducted from the freelancer's earnings.
